
Therapeutic
Foster Care Program
Morningstar
operates two Therapeutic Foster Care programs. These programs are located
in Savannah, Georgia and West Point, Georgia. The Therapeutic Foster Care
programs serve children and adolescents who do not require institutional care
and can benefit from community based treatment.
Family
Resource Centers
Morningstar
provides community-based family preservation services in Brunswick, Carrollton,
Cartersville, Cumming, Rome, Savannah and Zebulon. Morningstar addresses the
educational, physical-psychological, spiritual and social needs of Georgia's
most in-need children.
Youth
Estate Center
Located
on a 350 acre site bordering the Altamaha River in North Glynn County, the
Youth Estate Center is a unique residential treatment program for intellectually
disabled and severely, emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. The
campus provides individual therapy, group therapy, play therapy, on site special
education services, activity therapy and individual treatment planning. All
treatment services emphasize family and community involvement. Each child's
treatment program is tailored to build on the strengths of the individual
child and his/her families.
Treutlen
House
The
Treutlen House
at New Ebenezer is a community-based, ecumenical ministry for children and
families who are dealing with personal crisis and are seeking assistance to
improve their current situation. Treutlen House will provide a professionally
administered continuum of preventive and therapeutic services to children
and their families. These services will include family preservation, alternative
family placement, or independent living.
